The new identity is a simpler version of the historic, richly detailed and colourful monogram, retaining the distinctive identity of the Victorian lettering and its Arabic ornamentation.

The decoration in the emblem evokes the silhouette of a scarab, the sacred symbol of ancient Egypt and a bringer of good luck.
